Privacy Policy

Effective 21 September 2026 · Atsumori is a product of Techmori

The short version. Atsumori runs entirely on your device. It has no accounts, no servers and no analytics. We never see your time entries, clients, rates or invoices. The only time the app talks to the internet is when you connect an integration, and then it talks to that service, not to us.

1. Who we are

Atsumori is developed and published by Techmori (techmori.com), a technology studio. In this policy, "we" and "us" refer to Techmori. Questions about this policy can be sent through the contact form on the Techmori website.

2. Data that stays on your device

Everything you enter into Atsumori is stored in a single SQLite database on your device, inside the app's private data folder. This includes:

Profiles, projects, hourly rates and per-project settings
Time entries and their notes
Your invoice identity (name, address, tax number, logo) and payment terms
Invoice history, including frozen line-item snapshots
Appearance preferences (mode, accent), stored in local app storage

Exported PDF invoices are written to the folder you choose. We do not receive copies of any of this data, and we have no ability to access it.

3. Integrations

Integrations such as Harvest are optional and off by default. When you connect one:

Your access token is stored locally on your device, alongside the app's other data. It is never sent to Techmori.
The app communicates directly with the integration's servers (for Harvest, api.harvestapp.com) to read projects and time entries. No request passes through Techmori.
Sync is one-way: Atsumori reads from the service and never writes to it.

Your use of a connected service is governed by that service's own privacy policy. Disconnecting an integration removes its stored token.

4. What we don't do

No user accounts, sign-in or cloud sync
No analytics, telemetry, crash reporting or usage tracking
No advertising, and no sale or sharing of data with third parties
No automatic update checks that identify you

5. The website

The Atsumori download page may be served by a hosting provider that keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser, time of request) for security and operational purposes. We do not set tracking cookies on the site.

6. Your control

Because your data lives only on your device, you control it completely. Deleting a profile removes its projects, entries and invoices. Deleting the app removes its database. Exported PDFs are ordinary files you can keep or delete at any time. If you email us for support, we keep that correspondence only as long as needed to help you.

7. Children

Atsumori is a professional tool and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from them. As described above, we do not collect personal information from anyone through the app.

8. Changes

If a future version of Atsumori changes how data is handled (for example, an optional cloud backup), we will update this policy and note the change in the release notes before that version ships. The effective date at the top tells you when it last changed.
